The mission of this church shall be to worship God, to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to celebrate fellowship and unity within this church and the Church Universal.

First Congregational United Church of Christ is a family church, who care for one another, for our community, and for our world family.  We learn from our elders, are challenged by our adults, and led into new ways of thinking and doing by our youth and children.  We are open to the struggles of living within the world today, and with God at our side, Jesus as our Light, and the Holy Spirit as our guide,  we live in the present and look forward to the future.

We are fortunate to have an endowment fund.  As long as the fund balance remains at a certain level, income from the fund can be used to help with the general expenses of the church.  Currently 12% of our general fund income comes from our endowment fund.
