Greetings and welcome to the web page of First Congregational United Church of Christ!

We are located one hour north of Detroit and one block off the St. Clair River in the city of St. Clair, Michigan.

We are a small family church with opportunities for all ages.  Our church family loves children and welcomes them into all areas of church life. As one member said, “If we don’t have the sounds of children, we’re not a living, growing church.”  We invite you to join us on our faith journey, for no matter who you are or where you are on your journey, you are welcome here!  We celebrate our diverse theology and continue in working to understand what it is God is calling us to be and to do.  We understand that to be an active dynamic church we are going to have challenges that must be met with faith and will require us to step outside of our comfort zone, which at times pushes us to live on the edge as we follow the words of Jesus.  Yes, this can be a struggle at times, but knowing we are not alone on this journey, that God is with us, we enter into the challenges knowing “all things are possible with Christ”.
